Blackpool Council, branding for Young People Services
Blackpool Council have made recent substantial investment in developing their Young People Services division, yet the brands under the Councils own identity were all developed at different times and by different designers. The end result was difficult to manage and diluted the brand to its end users.
Apple were briefed to design the main umbrella brand for Young People Services, and at the same time design a suite of logos for all the divisions operating beneath it. The project involved consultation and focus groups with young people, as we wanted to incorporate their views into the final creative.
The corporate
identity has been a huge success with very early adoption of
the concepts by their respective audiences and very positive
feedback all round.
