Ascentis Corporate Identity
This corporate identity project involved the naming as well as the design of the logo and full range of marketing materials.
The National Awarding Body, formerly known as OCNW, needed a new name to take them into a new phase of the organisation's growth and so Apple were appointed to seek a new name. This involved a wide range of research activities, at one point involving schools and colleges nationally, through a naming competition, the final of which was held in Leeds.
This competition,
and the winning entry, were used to inform the final decision.
the name Ascentis was launched successfully and we have also
transferred the branding across the whole range of OCNW materials,
completing the transformation. The company has now moved into
new premises in Lancaster so the rebrand has come at exactly
the right time.
